March 5th Blogger Sentiment Poll

FROM TICKER SENSE:
Bearish bloggers jumped from just under 30% at the start of last week to 42% this week. Please see the list of participants at link above. Those bloggers that wish to have their outlooks displayed have a +, -, or N next to their names to represent whether they are bullish, bearish or neutral on the S&P 500 for the next 30 days. For me, little has changed. I remain bearish and 90% invested. My stock account is nearly fully invested in an array of tech, medical, biotech, mining, and energy. I am also short (35%) QQQQ, SPY & RSP and long SDS. Between 2/20 - 2/24 I sold AAUK, BRCM, PRW (some) and added more SLW.
My Asset Allocated Fund Portfolios are re-balanced and fully invested, but cautious.
Roger also remained bearish, but he remains invested as he explains HERE.
Portable Alpha Daily's Long-Term Market Model – Bearish since December 8th.Asset Allocation – AAS Model Portfolios have between 50% and 62.50% cash allocations and mixed long – short allocations..
Also, MARGIN debt in the American stock market has reached a new record of $285 billion. In other words, more borrowed money is being used to buy shares than ever before (although not a record as a percentage of market cap).
A loud warning from William O'Neil himself: "You absolutely do not buy breakouts during a bear market."
